The Tourism Sector meeting is held every month with all Tourism Related NGOs to discuss current issues and concerns within the tourism industry and find amicable solutions.

The National Boating Association held its 4th tourism sector meeting. The meeting was held online with NBAM and MATI present as members. Discussions included the effects of the decentralization act on the boating industry and the issues caused by individual island councils implementing regulations without stakeholder discussions. It was proposed that the issue should be consulted with the local government authority. MATI also raised concerns with regard to the new expatriate employee ratios for resorts. Stated that they were in discussions with the Ministry of Economic Development to address the concerns.
